Whole30 BBQ Sauce for Paleo Ribs

Well if you're like me you love ribs, just because I'm doing another Whole30 doesn't mean I don't want some slow and low baby backs. I do about a 4 hour cook for my ribs, The video is at the bottom but go over my process first, my rub recipie and most importantly a No Sugar BBQ sauce that rocks.

If you don't know what a whole30 is I encourage you!!!


Its a 30 day sugar/chemical/food from a box detox.

So I made a batch of rub today, and I tend to change it up but its always pretty close. This time here is what I did:


Whole30 or Paleo BBQ Rub

  • 2 tbsp Tony's 
  • 2 tbsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbps chili powder
  • 2 tbsp paprika (smoked is best)

Eating whole30 Portions

This will be about the third time I've done a Whole30 with my wife.  To find get all the information you need to do a whole30 get the book.  We've been eating paleo, sometimes with adjustments, sometimes strict.  This time I am planning on eating mostly raw veggies for the first couple weeks in an attempt to purge any bad gut bacteria.  This first couple weeks I will only have a half portion of meat with lunch and a portion of meat with dinner in addition to my raw veggies.
