About 3 years ago, around the time our son was born began my journey toward a healthier lifestyle. My wife had tried a few different eating styles in hoping to be healthier while pregnant, and since we lived in the same home and ate dinner together every night was along for the ride. I still ate my bagels in the morning and it took a while before I made as many changes as she had made. When our son was born I had gained at least 30 lbs and was feeling lethargic. It had become a struggle to get up off the floor after changing his diaper or playing with him and I knew then, something had to change.
I started doing a bit of exercise daily using one of the programs on TV through our Roku. This was helping a bit and I was starting to feel a bit better.
